This camera has a Sony E mount so unless your lens has that type of mount, you will need a lens adapter. Metabones has some very reliable adapters! Check ’em out.
I have seen conflicting information about this. The general opinion is that the issue is much reduced in this model, but hasn’t gone away entirely. That said, I am seeing lots of posts of pictures from this model with thousands and thousands of stars, so it’s not likely you’ll see a problem. If you are still concerned, you can disable the long-exposure noise reduction, which is what causes the “star eater” phenomenon
